Excellent food, wonderful service!!!
This is a fantastic little family run restaurant. We were staying at a nearby hotel and had read good reviews about Upoint. We ended up eating here multiple times for lunch and dinner.
The food is excellent quality, good value and the service is absolutely wonderful. Probably the best food we had in all our time in Sri Lanka.

A Delightful Family Seafood Restaurant!!!
I'm glad that we have discovered U-Point - a charming, family-owned restaurant with amazing seafood and friendly service.
The food is worth every penny, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tasty Sri Lankan seafood experience.
The place also has money exchange services with great rates and even organizes trips (they arranged a turtle watching tour for us).

Amazing restaurant with excellent food and service!!!
I will highly recommend this place. Perfect traditional cuisine and the best sea food we had on Sri Lanka, very reasonable prices. We went there every day during our stay in Lankavatara because they really make you feel welcomed. Damith and his family are some wonderful, friendly people, and they help You with anything you ask for. They arrange all kind of transport, and they help to organize trip for you. Delicious food home made by great family!!!
No matter if it’s lunch or dinner - they serve fantastic traditional Sri lankan dishes, home made by mama. Rice, noddles, curry and fresh seafood, all in a warm home atmosphere, followed by fresh juices and sweets. And if you need something for your kids the have hone made French fries, too. Definitely a must be place in Kalametiya!
